I actually shot a few meets that Leila competed in while she was at Stanford and so it was serendipitous that she and I were connected once again the week before she headed out to Beijing to compete in the Olympics. While we won’t be there covering it, we did do this quick shoot at the studio. She’ll be competing for Tunisia in the pole vault so keep an eye out for her!
Go Leila! I think she vaulted higher than I did when we were in High School. Great job Gene, I’m glad you could create some great photos for her.
