Fashion week observations

So this week we shot a lot of parties as we were the official photography sponsors for the Fashion Week after parties. On Saturday night I shot the party at the W Hotel which was hosted by industry415 and sponsored by Goorin Brothers, a hatmaker based here in the Bay Area.

sex with emily

It's not everyday that we get to photograph two ultra sexy and unbashfully smart ladies in our studio. They are the brillant team that recently launched a podcast show entitled "sex with emily" - saving the world one orgasm at a time. We wish them much luck as they educate the masses on the trickyness that is sex.

Happy Birthday to us

So last week was our birthday and it's hard to believe it's gone by so fast. From the pad on Natoma to the studio/gallery space here at 1261 Howard and all the changes in between. From Colin to Traci to Scott to Katie to Sarah and Tara. It's been quite the ride but I feel like we're just cresting over the climb and the real ride is about to start.

Useful tools

This isn't directly photography related but here are some really useful tools that we use all the time:
TinyURL: this is a great site for making short URLs when you need to send really long ones since often email programs will wrap line breaks making long URLs not work right

Wedding Crashers

So last night my friend took me out to In-n-Out Burger and then to see Wedding Crashers. Since we're in the industry of weddings, I thought it would be an interesting flick.

the sea
normally, i rarely leave the city and even more rare do i take photos of the great beautiful earth. but this past weekend, i did get out to one of the best trails in northern california and had a wonderful time tripping on all the glory that is california. The trail ended on a beach with one of the only waterfalls in california at ends at the beach.
