Gyros and Stock Images/Licensing...
Industry Perspective ( October 2007)
So I am wondering if everyone else is as familiar with this woman holding a gyro as I am (excuse the cell phone image quality here). It seems every time I'm somewhere that there's a restaurant serving gyros, I see this exact sign. I am not sure if the gyro stock imagery market is small or if this is truly the best and/or cheapest image, but this woman is ubiquitous (she's even on MySpace!).
Anyhow, I hope that both the model and the photographer who shot this were compensated appropriately.

there is definitely certainly one of these in Berkeley at the cafe Sufficient Grounds off of Durant Ave. my my, those are man hands!

Good call on the hands! I took that shot in Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.
