Maverick's legend Jeff Clark @ Casa Real
Industry Perspective ( May 2008)
Well one of the most fun things about event photography that I really enjoy is the fact that you never know who you might meet. This past weekend I was shooting at Casa Real, where we were shooting an event that Method 42 had produced and I ran into surf legend Jeff Clark.
Most people have heard of Mavericks, the surf competition up here in Northern California and may have seen the movie Riding Giants in which Clark plays a prominent role, having been the first to regularly surf Mavericks before it became the big wave competition it is today. Clark has a shop now and designs custom surf boards.
