Production.

For the gearheads and trainspotting production-geeks, this music was produced in the finest bedroom-studio fashion: a dude with a laptop and some headphones. ... except I work mostly while riding BART trains which makes it all sort of an ode to commuting.

For hardware, I have an M Audio Axiom 25-key controller, an Mbox2, a couple very old and not particularly interesting guitars, and work almost entirely in Reason on a Macbook Pro.

I've flirted with the idea of moving into Ableton Live and have given up on ProTools as being somewhat inappropriate for creation as well as a Pain In The Ass as it requires a dongle. Yes, a dongle in the 21st century.

Plans for progress: I intend to work with more live source - guitar, hire some cello and violin friends, dig out my minidisc to record found sounds. I need a more fluid drum-programming environment than what Reason offers (though working with the Axiom might help a bit). And should things progress to a properly-recorded form, I hope to bribe some mixing and mastering time from Count or Coseboom.

In theory we can put some static stuff here... List friends... vulk, tandy, iso50, soundof, nthroot, etc
