Jane & Lee

Jane and Lee were vacationing in America and they decided to get marry in San Francisco at City Hall on the last day of 2007. They were a lovely couple, super shy but quite adorable in their own way. I gave them a mini tour of San Francisco as we went to all the popular visual landscapes.

I shot this wedding in may and i also forgot to post it on the blog. Luckily, i submit a number of photos from this wedding in the recent AGWPJA contest and got 2nd place for one of them. Check out their web slideshow here.

Mike and Katherine's Wedding

I've seen other photographer's images from this rather famous church in tiburon and I am glad i had the chance to photograph there recently. My post production has been a bit more moody and dark this wedding season, as seen by this image. In other news, i got 2nd place for a getting ready image and 6th place overall in the last contest hosted by AGWPJA (Artistic Guild Wedding Photojournalism Association).

Nick & Sally's Wedding

Nick and Sally are from london but they got married in Bay area because they met each other here. A number of Brit weddings that i have photograph tend to have excellently dressed guests/wedding parties. See their wedding slideshow.

Kris and Ryan were a wonderful couple to photograph for all the right reasons; happy, emotional, and had the cutest flower girls and quite photogenic!

Mystery in weddings

Although there are obviously many great technical advantages to digital photography, it's the freedom to explore imagery like this that makes me smile. With the advancement of so many 'auto' functions, i sometimes switch it to manual to allow something else to make the decision besides the computer in the camera!

Anitque Greyscale

My post production style has evolved over the years and the past several months have been heavy on this particular look. As much as I love black and white, sometimes i like to throw in some shades of metallic greyscale.
